Food safety management system

ISO 22000:2005 is an internationally accepted standard that defines the requirements for food safety management systems.

Established in 2005, ISO 22000 is applicable to all organizations involved in the food chain whose primary objective is to ensure food safety.

The standard describes a framework that harmonizes all the links in the food supply chain, from producer to consumer, and helps to reduce risks to food, control risks and prevent product contamination.

The benefits of certification for your organization:

  • Increase profits
  • Control and eliminate food safety risks
  • Continuously improve the processes necessary to ensure food safety
  • Build customer confidence in your ability to control any food safety hazards
  • Increase export potential to near and far foreign countries, etc.

Certificate issuance and renewal

ISO 22000 certification is an independent verification conducted by Central Asia Certification, which verifies the organization’s compliance with ISO 22000.

Upon successful completion of the certification, the organization is issued a certificate. The certification is then maintained through regular annual surveillance audits over a period of time:

  • 3 years – when obtaining an international certificate;
  • 5 years – when obtaining a national certificate;

After the expiry of the certificate, recertification (recertification) of the food safety management system is carried out (at the request of the customer).
